The elegant remote control unit allows selection of 9 different pickup patterns and controls the switchable bass-cut filter and the attenuation pad. Moreover, a ground lift switch prevents unwanted hum if necessary.

It comes complete with a spider-type shock mount and a metal carrying case.

AKG The Perception 820 Tube is a dual 1" diaphragm tube microphone from AKG. The ECC 83 dual-triode tube circuitry ensures a new, higher standard for the classic, warm tube sound.

The Perception 820 has two 1" diaphragms, turned "back to back", which among other things ensures that you can select no less than 9 characteristics using the remote control box.

The remote control box is also equipped with a switchable 80 Hz high pass filter (-12 dB per octave at 80 Hz), and an option for 20 dB pad / attenuation, which allows the microphone to further take a sound pressure level of as much as 155 dB SPL.

AKG The Perception 820 comes in a sturdy aluminum case, complete with shock mount / elastic suspension.
