• Korg Minilogue XD is a polyphonic analog synth with plenty of warmth, punch and character.
• The XD version is an upgrade of the original Minilogue, adding digital 'Multi Engine', featuring noise, VPM and 'user slot' sound generators.
• The noise generator can produce fire kinds of noise and is perfect for percussive sounds and sound effects.
• VPM (Variable Phase Modulation) is a VPM/FM oscillator lets you create crisp and modern sounds that are otherwise not possible with an analog synth. 16 oscillator types and 'shape' control.
• The most exciting feature of the Multi Engine section, is the 'user slot' - here you can load your own open source creations or download user generated oscillators from the web. Korg has thus opened up Minilogue to endless amounts of creativity!
• XD comes with 200 presets and 500 programs.
• Effects Engine - 32-bit floating point DSP effects allow you to finish producing your synth sound. You get modulation effects, reverb and delay and all three can be used simultaneously. You can also load user generated effects into the 16 'user slots'.
• Use Korg's SDK (Software Developer Kit) to program effects and oscillators. 
• Polyphonic step sequencer - 16 steps with dedicated buttons that let you record both in real time and in steps.
• Joystick-style modulation/pitch control.
