This recorder is both small and inexpensive, but the units and quality are still top notch, as you'd expect when the product comes from Zoom. The recorder is perfect in the rehearsal room for getting ideas and sketches recorded and also performs great live. The X/Y stereo microphone ensures a clear and good stereo recording and the vital settings such as track marker, auto record, low cut filter, level and volume are adjusted easily and painlessly from the recorder. The recorder runs up to 10 hours on two AAA batteries, records to microSD card (not included) and has tripod threads for easy set-up and ideal positioning.
