Here you can choose from many different wax-based UV colours for both face and body in dosages of 12 ml. Our UV active face and body paints are made from a wax-based blend that gives our product a smooth, thick and creamy consistency that is easy and delicious to apply. Our product does not contain artificial fragrances but has a natural mild scent of wax. In fact, our product is produced with 100% organic beeswax, carnauba wax and coconut oil containing Vitamin E. The UV paint is moisturizing, nourishing, soothing to the skin, long lasting and does not crack at any time.
 
Our super neon uv paint is available in many beautiful colours and contains a high UV pigment content. The pigments are expressed in daylight by extremely intense bright neon colours and when exposed to UV light they glow fantastically in beautiful fluorescent uv colours. UV face paints and uv paints in general are now widely used at festivals, club events, Halloween, dance schools, concerts, stage performances and are also a must-have for professional make-up artists. Neon face paint is also becoming more and more popular for big parties. Easy to use

 

PaintGlow UV face paint can be applied with your fingers or a brush. The paint can be easily washed off the skin with soap and water, no matter where on the body it is applied. 

Note that UV paint can be problematic to get off clothes.

When using UV paint on the face, make sure it is a dedicated UV face paint. It is not appropriate to use any luminescent paint for the face. We recommend that you only use EU-approved UV face paints. All products in this category are approved by the EU. 
 

How much do I need?


Of course, it depends on how much paint you want to have on your body. Is it just a few streaks here and there or do you need total coverage. However, a good starting point is that 10ml for the face and body is plenty for one person. For clothes, a plain white t-shirt requires about 50ml.

Approved according to the European Cosmetics Directive

PaintGlow's UV Face Paint and UV Body Paint are the only ones in Europe classified as a cosmetic product. This means that all PaintGlow UV body products are approved according to the European Cosmetics Directive which safety approves and fully certifies the products. All products must undergo a series of safety assessments, carried out by a qualified professional, in order to be approved. 

Please be aware that companies advertising Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are not the same as complying with the European Cosmetics Directive. An MSDS is often prepared by the company itself and therefore not a legal document.

 

Use UV light to ensure efficacy

UV paints react first under UV light / blacklight light. Until then, it looks like ordinary paint. UV face paint will therefore not light up under neon light.
 


What is UV paint?

UV paint is fluorescent paint that glows brightly in the dark under UV light, also called black light. UV paints are available in different colours and variants and can be used on materials such as paper, wood, walls(UV paints) or clothing(UV fabric paints). However, it is not recommended to use UV paint on glossy/smooth surfaces such as metal or plastic, as you will not achieve the same effect.

UV paint can also be used for the body and face with UV Body Paint or UV Face Paint, which washes off easily with soap and water. It is important to use these products if the UV paint is to be used on the body/face, as other types of UV paint can cause rashes on the skin.

What is the difference between UV paint and luminescent paint?

The main difference between UV paint and luminous paint is the way you activate the light effect of the paint. UV paints require UV lighting/black light, and luminescent paints activate the light themselves as long as you are in the dark. Hence the name "Glow in the dark".
